I keep my "go bag" in my truck in case I need to do some impromptu climbing, but it's also my heavy lift
bag, used for raising and lowering tower sections and large antennas. It originally was a "self-rescue" kit,
the kind OSAH might require you to have at a work site. I cut off and threw away the "auto-ascender" it came
with, but kept the rope (DBI/SALA, although I assume it's manufactured by Sterling or some other name brand)
and all the accessories it came with.
I really only bought the bag for the rope, so I was pleasantly surprised to find it came with some extra
goodies inside. These included a 6ft heavy strap, a fall-arrest strap, a high visibility vest, and to my
surprise, a nice adjustable harness with good carabiner. The harness didn't have positioning straps so I
added two short climbing straps.
Inside the bag are pockets with various items, the main lift rope with ladder hook, a quick bag of gear and
harness, a quick bag of short rope, and a handful of small pouches of tag lines
I checked online for them and mine's an older model L2090, but the new ones cost a fortune, as was expected.
The new ones also come with an ascender, but for some reason they don't include a harness. It's possible the
L2090 didn't originally come with a harness and someone had just added it to the bag after purchase.
